John
Hyman who has been the Chairman since the branch started has indicated he wants
to stand down so he can concentrate on his other motorcycle club interests,
namely the Scottish Classic club and the Vintage vehicle association so we will
be looking for a replacement.
The Capper Rally
Two
weeks ago I was at the Capper Rally, hosted by Special K MCC at a site near Pathhead, in contrast to last year it was sunshine all the
way, putting the tent up stripped down to a T shirt and feeling the warmth of
the sun on my back certainly lifted my spirits and added to the enjoyment. The usual alcohol overdose ensued with the best
bike deservedly going to a 42 Indian Scout, the same one that was at the Snowed
in Rally in January. The long distance awards were from memory for over 500
miles (male) and 300 (female). This is a small Rally (around 90 People) but
friendly and well worth a visit, if you are interested for next year let me
know and I’ll get you an invite.
Ramblings
Just
back from a long weekend in Italia visiting my old village and relations, I
took the opportunity on the way back to
National Rally 2008
I’ve been working on the
flyer and need to get it back to the printers for the end of this month. Still waiting for T shirt prices. I’ve printed the flyer to
give you all an idea of what’s going out .
The Small Print
The views and opinions contained within this
publication are not necessarily those of the NOC or of the branch but are
probably mine as I wrote it.
No one accepts any responsibility for
anything, if you have a good time don't say I didn't warn you.
